Our evening preseason clinic targets both cardiovascular and anaerobic training. There is an extensive stretching regime that begins and concludes each day's session. The week begins with fitness tests such as Bleep or Coopers, and gets progressively tougher until the end of the week. Aside from fitness and well being, our curriculum is designed to improve foot skills, technical development, and tactical awareness. We know that players coming off of a dormant season are in strong need of regaining their touch. As a result, our high school program stresses the importance of ball-work.

For most schools, this is the week before the regular High School pre-season, so it is guaranteed to make each player prepared for their first tryout day.

High School Pre-Season Clinics

Each test's results are logged and submitted to each player's high school coach for reference.

Aside from fitness and well-being, Eastern Soccer Academy utilizes many drills and exercises that include the use of a soccer ball. We know that players coming off of a dormant season are in strong need of regaining their touch. As a result, our high school program stresses the importance of ball-work.
Eastern's High School pre-season training program is sure to assist high school coaches in advancing both the fitness and skills of each and every player.

If, in addition to our structured program, you would like us to add an additional element to each session or focus on a specific area, we will gladly do so. In addition to physical training results, each player will receive an injury prevention guide as well as basic nutrition guidelines that are recommended for a healthy season.

 

When are the Pre-Seasons Offered?

Each preseason camp week offered by Eastern is a 10-15 hour course. The course is broken down into individual sessions on 5 consecutive days. You have the option as to what time of the day you want the camp to take place:
