Eastern Indoor Soccer (EIS) was established in 2000 and has been the premier provider of indoor turf soccer programs in the Northeast USA. EIS offers an exciting, comprehensive portfolio of soccer activities for all player and team requirements.
EIS is based at the Sports Underdome in Mount Vernon, NY. This is a 72,000sq ft ASATI air structure provides a state-of-the-art indoor turf facility that cannot be matched in the greater New York area.
The design of the field layout enables teams to play or train on small sided fields or if requested the opportunity to play on a full size soccer field. The 3 small field dimensions are 64 yards long by 30 yards wide. The height of the dome is 84ft high at the center allowing the Sports Underdome to recreate the experience of playing outside and not being constrained by walls, boards, ceilings and lights which are problems encountered with other alternative indoor options. As you can see EIS offers the perfect environment to play or conduct a practice session whilst protecting you and your team from the outside elements.
EIS brings the outside experience indoors throughout the winter months. The winter soccer programs enable players and teams the unique opportunity to play consistently throughout the winter in our never ending season. Playing on the spacious fields the fast surface facilitates the development of soccer technical expertise. The indoor game helps players to maintain fitness levels and allows all year round training providing teams with a competitive edge when they return to their outside season.
New for 2009
EIS has had a brand new indoor turf field installed at the Sports Underdome in September 2009. This makes the EIS facility the number one indoor soccer stage for both quality and size. The Sports Underdome is conveniently located in lower Westchester County, NY and is only 20mins drive from all the major crossings. The unrestricted area and height in this facility brings the outdoors, indoors and provides the premier indoor soccer experience in the north east.
